Fono is a stereo phono preamplifier made by Viva Audio for low-output MC cartridges. It uses two high-performance tube active stages with 60 dB MC gain, real point-to-point circuitry, and an extremely high-quality output transformer made with special materials. The two-chassis design includes a non-magnetic aluminum preamplifier chassis with 2×12AX7LPS and 2×6C45P tubes, plus an external power supply with 2×2A3 tubes; a 300B-based power supply is also specified.
