Barefoot Sound
MicroMain27
Barefoot Sound is a small California-based studio-monitor maker best known for its cult following among mastering and mixing engineers; it sells through a limited dealer network rather than mass retail. The MicroMain27 is a 3.5-way active monitor with an all-digital DSP crossover, opposing "Dual-Force" 10" subwoofers to cancel cabinet vibration, and switchable "MEME" voicing modes that emulate other classic monitors — the model that "put Barefoot Sound on the map."
