Aurorasound
HFSA-01
The Aurorasound HFSA-01 is a hybrid vacuum-tube integrated amplifier combining a solid-state preamplifier with a tube power amplifier through a phase inverter. Its output stage uses four Sovtek EL84 tubes in ultra-linear push-pull configuration, driven by a Texas Instruments OPA604A op-amp, with Rohm silicon-carbide diode rectification, delivering 14 W per channel into 8 Ω. Connectivity includes three line-level RCA inputs, a Moving Magnet phono input with 40 dB gain and 47 kΩ loading, 4 Ω and 8 Ω speaker outputs, defeatable ±12 dB bass and treble controls, Stereo/Mono operation, and a headphone output driven by the preamp op-amp.
