PREi Stereo Preamplifier
The EMM Labs PREi is a stereo analog preamplifier with six stereo inputs—three balanced XLR and three single-ended RCA—and three stereo outputs, comprising two balanced XLR and one single-ended RCA. Its design uses fully discrete, dual-balanced signal paths, proprietary Meitner Audio Architecture circuits, Class A amplification, contactless switching, software-driven MVControl³ all-analog volume control, and a third-generation MXPower³ high-isolation resonant-mode power supply. It is specified with +6 dB system gain, better than 118 dB signal-to-noise ratio at 4 V RMS output, 40 kΩ balanced and 20 kΩ single-ended input impedance, and 150 Ω balanced and 75 Ω single-ended output impedance.
