The Nagra Reference DAC is a digital-to-analog converter manufactured by Nagra Audio, with 1× AES/EBU, 2× S/PDIF, 2× Nagra-Link, 1× optical, and 1× USB audio input, plus stereo RCA and stereo XLR outputs. It uses dual chassis power supplies—one for the audio signal section and one for the digital section, controls, and relay switching—with custom-made capacitors, high-voltage supplies generating a 200 V DC grid tension, and added super-capacity; its top cover contains a phenolic damping layer. The DAC has a 1.5 VRMS output level, output impedance below 200 ohms, frequency response of 5 Hz–40 kHz (+0/−1 dB), and separate 433×436×121 mm power-supply and audio-device chassis weighing 16.5 kg and 13.5 kg respectively.
