The Model 60 is SME's flagship turntable, introduced to mark the British manufacturer's 60th anniversary and positioned above the long-running Model 30 as SME's new reference deck (SME official product page). It is a suspended, mass-loaded, belt-driven design with a custom bi-phase AC synchronous motor and an outboard DSP-controlled speed control unit, paired with the new Series VA tonearm (Stereophile review).
