Ascent
Ascent is a three-way passive floor-standing speaker made by YG Acoustics. It uses a ForgeCore tweeter, an 18.5 cm (7.25") proprietary YG aluminum-cone midrange driver, and a 22 cm (8.75") proprietary YG aluminum-cone bass driver, with a 26 Hz–40 kHz frequency response, 90 dB sensitivity, average 4-ohm impedance, and 2.5-ohm minimum impedance. The speaker has sealed, inch-thick dense resin-fiber cabinets with internal bracing and acoustic absorbers, thick precision-machined aluminum front baffles, and hand-built crossover circuits using optimized crossover topologies.
