The Zu/DL-103 Mk.II is a phono cartridge based on the Denon DL-103 design. Its housing is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and hard anodized to aid matching of tonearm-mount properties and reduce stored or reflected pickup energy; the revised shape reduces resonance and stress risers while providing stronger support for the motor assembly. A reformulated epoxy matrix binds the assembly to further reduce noise and increase stability within the pickup system.
