The CORONA Plasma Tweeter is a proprietary plasma tweeter made by Lansche Audio for its loudspeaker systems. It uses an approximately 8 mm ionized arc between a curved annulus and a high-voltage outer electrode, with sound generated directly by the surrounding air rather than a fixed membrane, voice coil, or conventional mass-spring system.
