Manufactured in Switzerland, the Soulution 727 is a solid-state, dual-mono line preamplifier built around instrumentation-amplifier input stages and an 80-step, relay-switched resistor-ladder volume control, reportedly delivering roughly 20 dB less noise and 10x the bandwidth (20 MHz vs. 2 MHz) of its predecessor, the 725. It hits the market in the fourth quarter of 2023 and was named Solid-State Preamplifier of the Year by the editorial staff of *The Absolute Sound* (The Absolute Sound).
