The Perlisten R5t is a three-way passive floorstanding loudspeaker designed and engineered in the USA by Perlisten and manufactured in China. It uses a DPC array with a 26mm silk-dome tweeter and two 26mm silk-dome midrange drivers, plus twin 165mm Hybrid Pulp Formulation woofers made from paper, bamboo, wool, and wood fibres. Its 20mm HDF cabinet has bituminous internal layers, internal bracing, a down-firing bass-reflex port with a supplied foam bung for acoustic-suspension operation, and separate high- and low-frequency binding-post connections for bi-wiring or bi-amping. The speaker has 89dB sensitivity, 4Ω impedance, a 24Hz–32kHz frequency response, dimensions of 1100 × 230 × 350mm, and a weight of 36.5kg per speaker.
