Planar 2
The Rega Planar 2 is a manual turntable manufactured and assembled in the UK by Rega, with an RB220 tonearm featuring ultra-low-friction bearings and adjustable bias. It uses a 24 V low-noise, low-vibration motor, an advanced EBLT drive belt, a 10 mm Optiwhite float-glass platter, and a high-gloss acrylic or walnut-effect laminated plinth with a redesigned central bearing housing. A factory-fitted Rega Carbon moving-magnet cartridge is supplied as standard, with an optional Nd3 moving-magnet cartridge; dimensions are 447 × 117 × 360 mm with the lid closed, and weight is 5.5 kg.
