C-5000

The Yamaha C-5000 is a preamplifier manufactured by Yamaha. It uses fully balanced, discrete signal transmission, a floating balanced design across the phono EQ, input amplifier, and line amplifier stages, and a symmetrical folding-book PCB layout for matched left and right signal paths. Its construction includes independent dual toroidal transformers, a copper-plated chassis, a copper-plated transformer case, thick screw-type power-supply wires, and custom heavy-duty brass feet.
