BACCH plugin
The BACCH plugin is a software plugin by Dutch & Dutch that adds BACCH 3D spatial-audio processing to the company’s 8c loudspeakers. It uses Edgar Choueiri’s “Band-Assembled Crosstalk Cancellation Hierarchy” technology, applying crosstalk cancellation in the phase domain to account for inter-aural timing, amplitude, and tonal differences without introducing coloration or distortion. The plugin requires 8c firmware r2.4 or later and supports direct streaming and AES3 input via network restreaming.
