The Yamaha MSR800W is a discontinued powered subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency output of the MSR400 or other speaker systems. It uses a 15-inch cone woofer in a birch plywood bass-reflex enclosure, with an 800-watt burst/500-watt continuous built-in amplifier and a 40–120 Hz frequency range. Connectivity includes two balanced XLR inputs, XLR THRU outputs, and dual HIGH PASS outputs with selectable 80–100 Hz filtering and an 18 dB/octave cutoff slope.
