The MAINSSTREAM HYBRID (halogen free)

The MAINSSTREAM HYBRID (halogen free) is a heavy AC power cable made by Van den Hul for high-end audio, video, and professional equipment. Its hybrid conductor structure functions as an embedded powerline filter without series components or added series impedance, suppressing differential-mode and common-mode high-frequency noise; it also includes a heavy shield and a broadband low-impedance yellow-green ground conductor. The cable uses three paralleled blue neutral and three brown lead/hot high-purity oxygen-free stranded copper conductors with dense silver coating, providing 1.69 mm² per current lead, approximately 1.0 Ω/100 m series resistance, and a loop resistance of 0.02 Ω per metre; the conductors and shield are insulated in HULLIFLEX 4.
